Finding Beauty, Goodness, and Truth (Day 10)
Beauty
Toshi – “Something beautiful is you (Mommy).” (note: yes, he can have anything he wants).
Peanut – The tulips we saw during our run were pretty.
Goodness (Kindness)
Little Bit – MiniLu brought her toys out to share and let others pick which one they wanted first.
Toshi – “MiniLu let me have the blueberry Num Noms toy.”
Daddy – It’s good the way our family is so organized. Our new normal now has a nice rhythm/flow.
Truth
Toshi – “People can pass the coronavirus by sneezing.”
Thankful
MiniLu – Thankful that no one in our family is sick right now.
Mommy – After a couple of cloudy/rainy days, thankful to have our outside time back.

- MiniLu and Toshi painted their artwork Cat the Cat (from Day 8)
- Family walk around the neighborhood, waving to neighbors as we pass them by
- Outside time after QT
- Indoor BBQ (hot dogs) for dinner
- Day 10 – 30 min recess, 1 hr 40 min after QT (Total = 2 hrs 10 min)
- Day 11 – 30 min recess, 2 hrs after QT (Total = 2.5 hrs)
Mood
Day 10 – Today the weather was nice again (after a few days of cold, cloudy, or rainy days). But today was the first day the kids couldn’t play with their neighbors like they’re used to doing. It’s a very sad situation for all of us, but the four siblings have been getting along and playing together very well. We (Allan and Maria) have been video chatting with friends at night (after kids’ bedtime) to stay connected socially.
Day 11 – Another beautiful day. Another week is almost over. Homeschooling has gone very peacefully the last couple of days (and this Mommy is thankful!).
Prayer
Abba Father, thank You for bringing back the beautiful weather. Thank You for all the gifts You shower us with – most of all, the gift of Your love and peace. Amen.
