Mood
Time is starting to pass by more quickly. Hard to believe nearly 3 weeks have passed since we started social distancing. It was a calm ending to the week, and we are thankful. The kids are doing great – they don’t make a lot of complaints and they are getting along so well. They earned a car ride to the ice cream shop.
While I ran an errand to Target/Dollar Tree tonight (4/4), I noticed that the town looks a lot different than it did 2 weeks ago (last time I ran an errand to Target). There were a lot less cars and people out today, and many places seemed quiet and desolate. It was very eerie – but I’m glad that we are all working on this together.
Prayer
Abba Father, thank You for the simple gifts. Thank You for the weekend. Spring is here…and our hope is not dead. Amen.
